Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club is a young up and coming Waka Ama club that was established in 2018 to lead the development and practice of Waka Ama, With a key focus to promote kaupapa waka as a positive activity to support cultural and physical wellbeing within the community.
Waka Ama has proven to be a growing team sport across New Zealand, The sport presents a rich history where identity, tradition and community is at its core and as a result, for many, Waka Ama is not just a sport but also a lifestyle. Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club was established in 2018 and is situated in Red Beach Whangaparoa, Auckland New Zealand.
