Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club
Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club is a young up and coming Waka Ama club that was established in 2018 to lead the development and practice of Waka Ama, with a key focus to promote kaupapa waka as a positive activity to support cultural and physical wellbeing within the community. Waka Ama has proven to be a growing team sport across New Zealand, The sport presents a rich history where identity, tradition and community is at its core and as a result, for many, Waka Ama is not just a sport but also a lifestyle. Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club was established in 2018 and is situated in Red Beach, Whangaparaoa, Auckland, New Zealand.
Develop, educate, practice, and promote all aspects of Waka Ama so that it becomes the leading choice of water sport.
To grow the Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club through inclusive on water activities for our community whilst promoting safety, education, health and fitness.
We encourage hospitality, kindness and generosity through sharing of ourselves and our resources nurturing all people and accepting our differences.
